Brian Slattery and Harry PDF Print E-mail

Harry Bolick and Brian Slattery have been playing and recording music together in the New York City area since 2001, both as the core of Wahoo and as a duo. Drawing predominantly on the Appalachian music they've been steeped in while also incorporating elements of other musical styles they love, they create a sound that honors tradition and engages modern audiences.

Their latest recording and first duo cd Come On Over and See Us Sometime was released in March 2011. It features several updated versions of Tommy Jarrell and Carter family songs, a medley of 8 versions of Cumberland Gap, several recently composed tunes and some choice obscure Mississippi fiddle tunes. All rendered in our unique style.
